MADDISON CONTINUES GOOD GOALSCORING FORM

England midfielder James Maddison has continued his recentred-hot form in front of goal after he was on target for Leicester City during the win at Newcastle United in the Premier League. Newcastle United played hosts to the Foxes in a league game at St. James Park on Sunday afternoon and England player Maddison was one of thegoalscorers as Leicester City were able to record another victory on the road. The Foxes have the second best form on the road this season behind fellow title chasers Manchester United and England international James Maddison was on target as he helped his team to a 2-1 away win over Newcastle United.


Leicester City dominated proceedings in the first half of their league clash at Newcastle United during the just concluded weekend but chances were at a premium as the two teams went into the break without any goal. James Maddison broke the deadlock ten minutes after restart with a fine finish as he profited from the good work from Jamie Vardy to take his tally to three goals in the last six games.

Belgian international YouriTielemans added a second goal for the Foxes on 72 minutes before Newcastle United substitute Andy Carroll made it a nervy end to the game for the Foxes. Carroll scored his first goal for Newcastle United in a decade to halve the deficit with eight minutes left on the clock. Leicester City were able to preserve their slim lead to move into the top three on the league standings.
England international James Maddison has recovered from his several injury niggles at the beginning of the season to hit form at the right time for Leicester City. The player has an outside chance to make it to the European Championships this summer with the England national team as long as he continues to maintain his good club form.
